Sorry this is so late. I'm hopeless at deadlines lately. J. Love
The first time Ezra felt the sensation of someone watching him was last week at the grocery store. Since then, he had turned around countless times trying to catch the mysterious person who stalking him. Perhaps stalking was a little extreme since he didn't know for sure if it was only one person. His mother had always told him to capitalize on his good looks so it was possible that people were just admiring him. However, despite all his rationalizing, Ezra couldn't shake the feeling that it was one person responsible for the eerie feeling of being watched so closely. Also, that the person was someone he knew.
Today was no different, Ezra had gone to the local mall to restock on some supplies and buy new sheets. As he wandered the crowded halls, the feeling returned. He turned slowly, but in vain. Ezra couldn't see anyone looking at him. He tried to shrug off the feeling and continued shopping. If his steps were a little faster, Ezra dismissed it.
At an exclusive bedding store, Ezra debated between the navy blue, black and forest green silk sheets. The styles were simple on each and there all sensual to the touch.
A soft whisper reached his ears. "I think the forest green ones suit you best."
Ezra whipped around but once again it was no one except the sales clerk serving an elderly matron.
Ezra slowly walked around the store trying to find the owner of the mysterious whisper. He was sure now that it was a man, but who was it. His search was in vain. Ezra's senses went into high alert.
He could swear that he heard someone breathing.
Again the whispering was heard. "Are you going to get the green ones? I would love to see you spread out on them. Your body is perfect right up to your delicately formed ears."
Ezra's ears turned a little red as he blushed. The voice was seducing him just as much as the eyes that he felt gliding over his body in time to the words. He could literally feel them tracing the curves of his ears. Ezra had to stop himself from reaching up to trace his ear. He closed his eyes and breathed in deep. The scent of a clean outdoor masculine odor wafted into his nose. Ezra frowned slightly in confusion. The store was scented with a strong floral scent. The outdoorsy scent was out of place. He shivered as he felt the eyes tracing his ears again. Unable to stop the instinctive motion again, Ezra brushed his right hand over his ear as if he could erase the sensation.
A soft chuckle echoed in his ears.
Ezra shrugged his shoulders resettling his jacket into neat lines. He returned to the sheets and picked up the black ones.
"No, get the green ones," the voice whispered again.
Ezra sighed and picked up the forest green sheets. He paid for them and made polite conversation with the effeminate sales clerk.
"I'm waiting for you," the voice whispered. "I've decided that I'm going to get up close and personal with you as soon as I can."
Ezra stiffened a little and glanced behind him. Nothing! The clerk continued going on about how good a deal the sheets were as he packaged them. He gave no indication that he had heard the same whisper that sent shivers through Ezra.
Ezra thanked the clerk and slipped out of the store.
As he exited, a hand pulled him to the side into a man's arms. Ezra's back rested against a hard chest.
"Now I have you and I won't let you go," the voice whispered.
Ezra shivered as he felt teeth nibble at his right earlobe.
"Who are you," Ezra said quietly as he tried to turn around.
"Don't you know?"
Ezra turned his head sharply and caught a glimpse of the man holding him, relaxing as his suspicions were confirmed. "Chris!"
"Yes, Ezra, I want you. Do you want me?"
Ezra was allowed to turn within Chris' arms and looked into the clear blue eyes. He read the sincerity of Chris' words in those eyes and smiled, happy that his suspicions were correct. "Yes, Chris, I do."
Chris smiled and kissed Ezra ignoring the other mall goers who paused to watch them. "Then let's go to your place and break in those new sheets."
