A Brief Note on a Source

 

I’ve been reading about the Long Island Express for a few years now, but I leaned very heavily for the description of events aboard the Bostonian on a recent book by R.A. Scotti, Sudden Sea:  the Great Hurricane of 1938.  It’s well worth a look if you are interested in such matters.   What happened to the Bostonian was true.  What happened to New York and New England was almost unbelievable.

Someday, it will happen again
